Methods of Mathematical Physics

The course "Methods of Mathematical Physics" is part of Bachelor of Electronics program for "Physical and Biomedical Electronics" specialty and belongs to variable part of professionally oriented disciplines. It is a continuation of Mathematics and Physics and supports courses "Microwave Electronics", "Vacuum Microelectronics" and "Interaction of physical fields with biological objects." The purpose of this course: to teach students to build mathematical models of physical phenomena, introduce specific mathematical methods that are not taught in general mathematics courses, but are widely used in physical and technical applications in electronics and allied fields, and teach students to use these methods for solution of specific problems of theoretical physics and the different sections of electronics. An important feature of the course material selection - focus on the training of specialists in electronics.
